This study tour is preceded by two compulsory pre-departure sessions.
During this study tour, you will engage in industry visits and lectures in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (business capital of Malaysia). The themes that you will be exposed to include corporate social responsibility, manufacturing, and international trade in South East Asia. You will also experience a ‘macro’ tour of Singapore and KL, linking various aspects of the economic development of each nation.
With each site visit/lecture, there is the opportunity for you to network with local industry leaders, expatriates, and students at our partner institutions in Singapore and Malaysia. This presents an opportunity for you to develop your cross-cultural communication skills, build-up your international network, and enhance your readiness for working in industry with an increasing focus in the Indo-Pacific region.
Places on this study tour are strictly limited (maximum cohort of 20 students). Places on this study tour are awarded on a competitive basis, taking into consideration your academic performance to date and your responses to the selection criteria on an online application.
