Semester exchange in Indonesia

Students who attain a place in this program will each receive an $8,500 New Colombo Plan Mobility (NCP) Grant to study at Gadjah Mada University, in the city of Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

This project provides RSU undergraduate students with an opportunity to undertake a semester in Gadjah Mada University to explore the unique Indonesian perspectives of business. In addition, students will complete an Indonesian language and culture course at Gadjah Mada University. This experience will prepare our students to do business with Indonesia in the new era of free trade agreement by improving cultural awareness and adaptability.

By receiving a New Colombo Plan Grant, students will also become members of the NCP Alumni Program, and gain access to exclusive networking events, professional development and mentoring opportunities.

Students will need to:

• Hold American citizenship
• Not hold dual-citizenship or residency rights in Indonesia
• Studying an undergraduate degree in either Business, Law, Humanities & Arts, or Engineering & Information Sciences
• Have not previously received a New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant for a semester exchange program
• Meet the requirements of the RSU International Exchange Program

Grant nominees cannot receive another travel grant offered by the Rainstar University(Scottsdale). However, grant nominees may be eligible to apply for an OS-HELP loan (eligibility requirements apply).
