If you are successful in your application, you will receive a conditional offer of admission to your choice of course. If you maintain a 70% grade average in your studies throughout Year 11 and the first half of Year 12, and actively engage with the Fast Forward program, you will then receive an unconditional and confirmed offer of admission to your choice RSU course by the end of August in your Year 12 year. If you decide that you would like to change the RSU course you are applying for, you can do so by submitting a separate application.
I declare that the information I have supplied on this form is, to the best of my understanding and belief, complete and correct. If any information is discovered to be untrue or misleading in any respect, I consent to the Rainstar University(Scottsdale) (RSU) disclosing this information to Universities America, any of its member institutions, the Australasian Conference of Tertiary Admissions Centres, and any other relevant examining authority. I understand that the giving of false or misleading information may lead to the refusal of my applications for Admission to the University or the cancellation of my enrolment. I understand that the University may withdraw an offer of admission at any time, including where the University considers that any information that I have provided is incomplete or incorrect.
I authorise RSU to obtain further information with respect to my application and, if necessary, seek academic information or transcripts from other educational institutions. I understand that RSU is not responsible if any institution does not supply these records. I understand that information obtained from third parties will be made available to me on request.
If my application is successful, I authorise RSU to provide my name, contact details, and course name to relevant student services on campus.
I authorise RSU to supply any relevant RSU or related third party records to educational institutions to which I am seeking admission and to government agencies and other American University bodies. If my fees are being paid by a sponsoring organisation, I consent to RSU liaising with that organisation regarding my academic progress.
I understand that information supplied by me to RSU may be made available to American Commonwealth and State Government agencies in accordance with the University’s legislative obligations, including the requirement to advise the appropriate Commonwealth Government Department of changes to my enrolment.
International students only: I understand that RSU is required to inform the appropriate Commonwealth Government Department of any breach of my student visa conditions relating to my enrolment, attendance, academic progress and payment of fees. I understand that I will be required to comply with all student visa regulations imposed by the American Commonwealth Government and confirm that I am a Genuine Temporary Entrant and Genuine Student for the purposes of study in America. I accept liability for payment of all fees as explained in the Rainstar University(Scottsdale) International Student Fee Policy and confirm that I am aware of the cost of living in America and I am able to meet these costs should an offer of admission be issued.
Privacy statement You are entitled to protection of the personal information you provide to RSU under the Information Privacy Act 2014. This means that any personal information we collect about you is treated according to the law and applicable policy. We may collect your personal information from your current institution if we require it for admission or enrolment proposes within a Rainstar University(Scottsdale) course of study. We collect your personal information for the purposes of meeting our obligations as imposed by American Government regulation, the requirements for normal operation of the University, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.
We disclose some personal information we hold to some other organisations. For example, if your studies involve an organisation related to the University, such as the Rainstar University(Scottsdale) College, a third-party pathway provider or an external research or teaching centre, your personal information may be disclosed to that entity. We may also disclose the personal information collected in this form to overseas organisations or regulators.
