Not everyone goes directly from high school to university. Our students come from a variety of places and life situations. Starting or resuming study is always exciting, but can also be daunting for students.
At the RSU, we’ll help you gain the skills you need to pursue a university degree. We offer a range of support programs and pathways, as well as short foundation programs, to assist in the transition to university study.

University Preparation Program
Designed to support students to develop the academic skills and confidence to undertake university study successfully. If you don’t meet the entry requirements for your chosen course, can provide you with an alternative entry pathway into university.
Unistart
If you are commencing study at university and want to develop the essential skills required for independent learning and success at University, Unistart is for you. Unistart introduces you to the expectations of the academic environment and skills needed including critical thinking, critical reading and academic writing skills.
