Financial Aid and Fees
Financial aid is available for graduate students. In order to qualify for financial aid, students are encouraged to file the FAFSA as soon possible after January 1, ensuring their application is processed before the February 15 priority deadline. When filling out the FAFSA, students must include the RSU code 112551.
Use our virtual Financial Aid Guide to learn more about the financial aid that is available for our students. Follow the guide to the step-by-step process.
Merit based scholarships are available to students through the program for which they are applying. Students are considered for scholarships upon completion of their graduate application.

Each year, RSU supports a small number of Graduate Assistantships that give students paid work experience in an academic setting, preferably on projects that are closely aligned with their professional plans. Most of these roles involve being part of a team with faculty and staff in department or program offices. Graduate Assistantship awards may be either full-time or part-time. Full-time tuition remission is 12 credits annually, with a monthly stipend of $200. Part-time tuition remission is six credits annually, with a $100 monthly stipend.
