Exchange

When you go on exchange, you 'swap places' with a student at one of our partner universities. This means you pay your usual tuition fees to the RSU.

If you would like to study at university that isn't one of our partners, you may be able to complete a study abroad program. This means that you enrol and pay fees directly to that institution.

Study abroad

We encourages students to explore international opportunities including a semester spent studying abroad at a foreign university, short-term faculty-led service learning programs, and international internships.  International exposure and cross-cultural learning enrich the educational experience through knowledge of another country and culture. By studying abroad, students build confidence and gain a new perspective on the world and their place within it.

 

Eligibility

To be eligible to study at RSU on Exchange or Study Abroad, applicants must:

  • Have successfully completed at least one year of full-time-equivalent study at their home institution.
  • Have at least an average grade point average, i.e. 4.5 on a seven point scale.
  • Enroll for full-time study at RSU, i.e. 12 credit point, or four units, per semester.
  • Meet all RSU entry requirements, including English language requirements.
