Diploma of Network and Software Engineering
The Diploma of Network and Software Engineering gives you the opportunity to develop knowledge and an understanding of network and software engineering to produce multi-skilled graduate engineers, who can fill the growing demands of the merging information and telecommunications industry.
Students acquire in-depth knowledge and skills on design, development, and implementation of a range of software based systems over communication network infrastructures. Graduates gain technical skills in data communications and networking, mobile and wireless communications, network security and the proliferation of networked applications and services relating to cloud computing, big data and multimedia. With a strong background in telecommunications and software engineering, and induction into research, graduates will be prepared to design, implement and operate communication networks and the associated services and applications assuring the appropriate security and quality mechanisms.

Diploma of Network and Software Engineering is studied over 3 terms (12 months).
