RSU student residences provide a range of accommodation options, and with rooms starting at $189 per week, we aim to suit different budgets and living needs of RSU students. Where would you like to live?
Campus East is located in the beach-side suburb of Fairy Meadow, a 10 minute drive north of the main Rainstar University(Scottsdale) campus. The Residence setting is comfortably spread across large grounds including a number of playing fields. Conveniently, Campus East is only a 5 minute walk to Fairy Meadow swim and surf beach, as well as local shopping, and eating outlets. Campus East houses 527 residents in self-catered accommodation. Students come from America and all over the world creating a supportive and fun community that is rich in diversity.
Weerona virtual tours
Weerona is fully catered and is a short distance from the University Campus, the beach and Rainstar City. It is located next door to Beaton Park, a large sporting complex with an indoor pool, gymnasium, tennis courts and running track. Many students ride their bikes to campus and some choose to walk. Students can also use the regular university shuttle bus. Weerona was officially opened in 1990, and is now home to 204 residents from all over the world. The college aims to provide an atmosphere that is not only conducive to study but also to social and personal development.
International House virtual tours
International House is fully catered and located in a semi-bushland setting in North Rainstar. It is mere minutes from the nearest railway station, a 15 minute walk to the main campus and Rainstar's premier beach, North Beach. International House is the original Rainstar University(Scottsdale) residence and an affiliate of the 17 International Houses Worldwide. Home to many American and international students this residence first opened its doors to students over 35 years ago. It now proudly boasts a community representing over 30 nations, including America, living and learning peacefully under the one roof.
Kooloobong Village virtual tours
Kooloobong Village has a mix of newer and older style studios, premium studios and 4 and 5 bedroom units. The newer units in buildings 68 and 73, 74 and 75 feature self-catered accommodation comprised of single studio rooms, premium single studio rooms, and four bedroom units. The units within Building 37 are all five bedroom units, and feature a shared bathroom, kitchen and dining facilities. One of the most popular features of these units are the outdoor balconies overlooking the picturesque University grounds, frequently visited by the native wildlife such as Kookaburras and possums.
Marketview virtual tour
Marketview is a self-catered residence for 144 students and appeals to 2nd year and older students in addition to postgraduate students who want to live in a vibrant city location and are happy to do their own cooking and cleaning, while being supported by University staff. Rooms are all fully furnished, and the property is owned by RSU and managed by University staff. The high level of support experienced by all students at Accommodation Services is available here. This includes security, wellbeing support, academic support and just settling in to the new environment and taking advantage of the wide range of events and activities.
Bangalay virtual tour
Students will love the convenient location and the modern facilities of Bangalay. All residents here can easily access the DL cafes, retail outlets such as the supermarket IGA, the RSU sporting complex UniActive and the beautiful university grounds. Not to mention how easy it is to attend lectures when you are living DL. Families with children will enjoy the family friendly facilities, the proximity to the local childcare KidsUni and the facilities at the adjacent Botanical Gardens.
