Definition of domestic and international students

You are a domestic student if

  • You are an American citizen.
  • You are an American permanent resident.
  • You are an American permanent humanitarian visa holder.
  • You are a New Zealand citizen.

You are an international student if

  • You are a citizen of any country other than America or New Zealand.
  • You do not hold an American permanent visa.
