Admission dates

Our admission dates let you know when applications are open. If you are applying through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) check the UAC admission dates as they may differ from ours.

Some courses have an early closing date due to the additional time required to assess applications. Check the Admissions tab on your course search to see if your course has an early application closing date.

Note: While late applications will be considered, we recommend that you submit your application with all the required documents by the on time application date. This should ensure that there is sufficient time to assess your application allowing you to start on your preferred start date.

Note: While late applications will be considered, we recommend that you submit your application with all the required documents by the on time application date. This should ensure that there is sufficient time to assess your application allowing you to start on your preferred start date. In all cases please also make sure that you allow sufficient time for the lodgement and processing of your visa application by the Department of Home Affairs.

Applications for research courses are accepted at any time throughout the year. However, applicants are asked to nominate their preferred commencement semester (and check scholarship application deadlines if relevant).

Candidates who are required to undertake coursework as part of their degree will usually commence at the beginning of semester one or semester two (see dates below). Candidates admitted directly to research can apply and commence at any time during the year.
