How to apply for postgraduate study with RSU
Before you apply, you should choose your course of study, check the admission requirements and have your supporting documents ready.
Detailed information on all courses offered at RSU can be found by searching our online course finder. The application process will differ depending on the course you want to pursue.
I want to apply for a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, OR Master by Coursework Degree.
Step 1. Apply online*
Most postgraduate applications can be submitted directly to the University through RSU’s online application portal.
The University does not accept paper applications, and there is no application fee for applications.
*Please note, applicants for the Master of Clinical Psychology, Master of Physiotherapy or Master of Occupational Therapy must apply through a different portal: The Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). There is a non-refundable processing charge of $70.00 AUD for on time applications. Applications made directly to the University for these specific courses will not be processed.
Step 2. Accept your offer
Applications are assessed and made on an ongoing basis throughout the year by the RSU Admissions team. Applications generally take around a week to assess and you will be notified of the outcome as soon as possible. During peak periods, there may be a delay in receiving your outcome. Details on how to accept will be included in your offer letter. You will also receive information about enrolling in units.
Step 3. Start your postgraduate study with RSU
