RSU offers comprehensive pathways to help you achieve your postgraduate study goals. We consider your industry experience, meaning you may not necessarily need a degree to be admitted.

Coursework Pathways

Postgraduate studies by coursework develops your knowledge and skills in an industry or profession. Depending on your program, your postgraduate studies by coursework will typically take between 6 months to 2 years (full-time).

Research Pathways

A Higher Degree by Research (HDR) involves a supervised research component, suitable for those looking to contribute to the growth and development of a specific area. Your postgraduate studies by research will typically take between 1.5 to 4 years (full-time).

Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit

You may be eligible to have your previous studies or work experience credited to your postgraduate degree, which will allow you to complete your degree sooner. You can apply for recognition of prior learning when you apply to study at RSU.
